SmartSaver’s reports, SmartScore assessments and usage recommendations are estimates.
They should not be regarded as:
- binding instructions
- financial advice
- a guarantee of energy savings
- advice on financial investments or capital expenditure
Users make all decisions concerning electricity use at their own risk.
4. Accuracy of information
SmartSaver aims to use the most reliable data sources possible.
However, the service does not guarantee:
- the accuracy of electricity prices
- the accuracy of weather forecasts
- that third-party information is free from errors
- uninterrupted operation of the service.
5. User responsibility
Users are responsible for ensuring that the information they provide to the service is as accurate as possible.
Incorrect information may affect the quality of the reports and recommendations.
6. User account
Users are responsible for keeping their account credentials secure.
Users must notify SmartSaver without delay if they suspect that their account has been accessed by an unauthorised party.
7. Service availability
SmartSaver aims to keep the service available around the clock.
However, the service may experience:
- maintenance downtime
- technical faults
- interruptions caused by third parties.
SmartSaver is not liable for damage resulting from such interruptions.
8. Intellectual property rights
All content of the service, including:
- SmartScore
- reports
- graphics
- calculation models
- software
- texts
- logos
is the property of SmartSaver or its licensors.
Copying, publishing or commercially exploiting the content without permission is prohibited.
9. Partner offers
Reports may contain partner offers selected by SmartSaver.
The offers may be selected based on the information users provide about their homes.
Personal data is not disclosed to partners for marketing purposes.
10. Limitation of liability
SmartSaver is not liable for:
- changes in electricity prices
- decisions made by users
- savings that may not materialise
- consequential or indirect damage.
The service is provided as is.
11. Changes to the service
SmartSaver may:
- develop the service
- add new features
- change the content of reports
- change the user interface
- discontinue individual functions.
SmartSaver aims to notify users of significant changes in advance.
12. Changes to the terms of use
SmartSaver may update these terms of use.
The current version is always published on the website.
13. Applicable law
These terms of use are governed by Finnish law.
The parties will seek to resolve any disputes primarily through negotiation.
